In New Holland, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Pennsylvania on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten Free person here. What a great unexpected experience. Choices on the menu and more importantly on the buffet. Apparently members of the Yoder family were diagnosed with celiac and they modified some of the recipes to be more inclusive. For instance all of the cream soups are gf as are a good portion of the hot food bar and the dessert bar. Ask for the waitress for the gf menu/choices. Also ask for gf biscuits and pie. Missed that they also have meadow tea which would have been the ultimate thing to wash it all down with.

We went for the dinner buffet. Several options, all tasty. No fighting crowds like other popular Lancaster area smorgasbords. Everything seemed homemade. My husband said the lemon meringue was great and he's really picky about that since his mom used to make pies. An added bonus is that they have a grocery store right there too, where travelers can grab whoopee pies and shoe-fly pie.

My family and I really enjoy yoders because you can get a variety of options for the buffet instead of getting the full buffet is you don't have a huge appetite. It is a quiet and calm atmosphere that makes your meal enjoyable. The staff is kind and helpful. The food is delicious and filling. The grill is a delight with foods cooked right in front of you. Their brunch is so good and authentic pennsylvania dutch foods.

This was really disappointing as we sat down I was hoping for an amazing meal. I ordered the smokehouse burger with chips medium rare. Came with soggy fries the menu said seasoned patty, there was no seasoning as it was very bland and overcooked. My fiend ordered the Mac n cheese with stewed tomatoes. It was reported as mushy pasta. I so wanted to like the place and was so disappointed by the food.

This is a wonderful buffet in New Holland, Pennsylvania. While it is smaller than Shady Maple and only a few miles away, it is still a very popular location and frequent by locals and vacationers alike. My family visited their buffet on a Friday evening. In addition to a full salad bar, along with ham, baked fish, pot roast, and baked and broasted chicken every day. Every evening they have nightly specials. Friday night was all you can eat prime rib, baked salmon, and multiple seafood items. The salad bar was excellent, the roasted chicken was perfect, and the prime rib was cut to order. Austin, the hot bar chef expertly cut me a piece to order, at well over an inch and a quarter thick! It was fabulous done at medium rare and equally delicious. You also have the ability to order off the menu if youโre looking for a lighter meal. Iโd highly recommend this place, breakfast and dinner are amazing and the price is more than reasonable.
